The capitol of the Fire Nation and the most authoritative city in the Phoenix Empire aside from the Phoenix King's capitol of New Ozai. Home to Fire Lord Azula and one of the most bustling cities in the world. The Fire Nation capitol is to the world the single greatest bastion of evil, even though the majority of the government is located half way across the world.

One of the largest and wealthiest cities in the Fire Nation, the town is dominated by a statue of Phoenix King Ozai designed to spew fire. The city is famous for its spicy pastries, less-than-legal pass-times, and corrupt officials, not to mention its seemingly endless supply of wealthy social climbers who fall just short of the mark of Caldera City or New Ozai.

Home to some of the most skilled metal-workers in the Fire Nation or indeed the world, Shu Jing is a relatively sleepy little city that enjoys a beautiful bit of countryside. The manor which looks down on the town is said to be haunted and was once occupied by Master Piandao. No one knows what happened to him, but the manor has gone without a master for many years...

Situated in the southern reaches of the Fire Isles, the Crescent Island was once the location of Avatar Roku's fire temple. After it was destroyed, the island was reclaimed by Fire Lord Azula and made a strategic base for the Fire Nation navy. One of the most powerful fortresses in the Phoenix Empire now resides on the island and can be seen for miles around...

The famed retreat which allegedly holds spiritual powers of rejuvenation and self-realization, Ember Island is famed for its acting troupe, the Ember Island Players, and its busy beaches, usually stocked with a veritable "Who's that?" of wealthy socialites. Ember Island's sister island, however, hides a sinister prison designed to house the most undesirable prisoners the Empire and Fire Nation have -- The Boiling Rock. It is said that there is no escape from the rock... but its history occasionally proves otherwise...

Conquered and beaten into submission, the Southern Water Tribe is little more than a labor colony governed by a tyrannical Phoenix Empire governor. People from all corners of the world are sent there to live out the rest of their lives as slaves to the governor and the Phoenix King. Many come from other prisons and colonies like Huo Jian Yu and Boiling Rock. The Tribe lands are now being hunted to the point of the extinction of all wildlife to provide any exotic products possible for the nobles in the capitols and the Southern Water Tribe has become just another prison colony and shanty town under the brutal heel of the Phoenix King's officers.
